***Intelligent people can discern between a joking comment and a serious one. He was obviously joking on this. Try again.

Why would you think he's joking? It's well known that he has always demanded absolute loyalty from anybody he associates with. And in that speech he first says they're un-American, then riffs to the 'Can we call that 'treason', why not. I mean they certainly didn't seem to love our country very much'. While the Donald is just a joke, it shouldn't be joked about to call a dissenting opinion or an opposition party 'treasonous'. First it's a joke, then it will be policy. That is why he speaks so highly of people like Rodrigo Duterte, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong Un, and Vladimir Putin. They don't like someone who opposes them, they torture and kill them. I'm sure the Donald just creams his big boy pants thinking about that.

***And one thing to remember...Trump is NOT a politician.. he never has been. Maybe that's why the establishment politicians hate him so much.
***

Or maybe they hate him because he currently holds the highest political office in the country and has absolutely no fucking clue what he is doing.

**Are you in favor of this idiotic military parade he wants to spend millions on? I can think of better ways to spend that money.

*The parade will be to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1 on November 11, 1918. I don't really see the harm in holding such a parade. It will serve as a reminder that our military still exists and remains strong and also as a reminder to some other countries as well.
*

Seriously, you actually think some massive parade is needed to show the world the strength of the US military??? The 800 military bases in 70 different countries don't remind people of that? The 540 drone strikes didn't remind them? 70+ years of military supremacy hasn't shown that? Somehow tanks and missile launchers parading down Pennsylvania Ave for the Donald's amusement would show them that strength? If anything, it shows the world how low the US has truly fallen. When the US conducts itself like North Korea, there's a serious issue.
When you're strong, you don't need to make grandiose exhibitions of your strength. It's tin-pot dictators that demand such displays. I know the Donald admires tyrants and dictators and wishes he was one, but, for the time being, he's not one.

*There are already a myriad of organizations that support the Veterans and one parade isn't going to hurt.
*

The type of parade he envisions is quite different than your standard main street parade on the 4th of July. He is a child with the biggest and best set of army men to play with, and we need to make sure he treats his toys properly.

*I'm sure those that will participate in the parade won't mind it a bit either. It'll be nice for them to get out and listen to all that support from those they serve to protect. Don't you think?

89% of Military Times readers say no.

And which is it, is it a parade to remind the world of US military strength, or is it a chance to show support for the service men and women? When the Donald orders it, it's only about the Donald. He wants to show how big and powerful he is, so he wants everybody to see his big military.

BTW, good to see you're still fully supporting the Donald and defending his idiocy. But you're not a Trump supporter, right?
