****(which is the frisian version of Fritz) is our first ever dog.
****
****He is now a little bit older than 1 year. We got him at the age of 8 weeks (which actually was a bit too early for taking him away from his mother)but everything turned out good.
****
****A Border Collie. Unbelievably intelligent, very demanding and just a nice, extremely friendly chap. He even gets along with our cat.
****
****Fiete

***Seems like a great dog 🐕!

**Yepp, he is.
**
**I have always been a "cat person", but Karin (my wife) decided that we should have a dog in order to keep us busy and fit (now that we both are way into our sixties), and boy did that plan work. Fiete really keeps us (or at least her, as I am still quite busy anyway) busy. Still: fantastic experience to communicate with him.
**
**btw: how are you doing? Any news regarding a new job or becoming a full-time professor?
**
**All the best Frank!

*Hi Klaus,
*
*Just saw this now. I was in Florida for vacation a couple of weeks ago so I wasn't checking Bagism and missed it. I have been working as an assistant teaching professor at a school in Massachusetts since August. It's full time so I'm pretty happy. I am planning on staying here for the foreseeable future. Hope everything is good in Germany! It was about a year ago we met in Connecticut....

All good Frank! Happy to hear that things worked out well for you. Am sitting in my office (at home), looking out the window and it f*** begins to snow! :-)
