**(which is the frisian version of Fritz) is our first ever dog.
**He is now a little bit older than 1 year. We got him at the age of 8 weeks (which actually was a bit too early for taking him away from his mother)but everything turned out good.
**A Border Collie. Unbelievably intelligent, very demanding and just a nice, extremely friendly chap. He even gets along with our cat.
*very cute - i had a Border Collie way back when...they are very smart doggies but can be a handful, especially in the city - i have 2 golden's now - not the brightest but filled with calm lovin' :^) - my Border Collie herded everything, people, cars and the house - literally...loved her...
Yepp, I know what you are talking about, and our cat could tell a story or two about a b&w (friendly) monster trying to herd him. :-)
I guess I like this dog so much because he's really showing character and it's also quite obvious that he *wants* to be challenged and *wants* to learn.
The breeder or raiser from whom we bought him actually warned us and to9ld us that Border Collies will always find something to herd if not being trained and educated (is educated a correct expression here?). He told us that in worst case he will herd our cars. :-)
