******We should all pray for the victims and their families affected by this lunatic that just walked into their church and started shooting..26 dead so far including the 14 year old daughter of the pastor. When the political and prejudicial division of our people ends, that's when this type of senseless violence will stop.

******ALL lives matter.

*****If praying makes you feel better, then by all means, pray your heart out.
*****
*****I don't pray so telling me I *should* means nothing to me. So far, prayers haven't amounted to a hill of beans for the victims of the repeated mass shootings. Prayers are like funerals. They benefit the survivors, not the dead.
*****
*****Roughly half of the victims of this murderous act included children, the youngest 18 months old. In church. On Sunday morning. Imagine an 18 month old child being slaughtered by an assault rifle in church.
*****
*****This is our reality. Life in the U.S. includes random mass killings by psychotic individuals. This gunman was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force after being court martialed for abusing his girlfriend and fracturing the skull of her young son. And here he was, out living his life, buying guns and planning mass murder.
*****
*****Nothing will stop it. Especially not "thoughts and prayers."

****
****You could always do something secular, like light a candle or something for those poor people, doesn't have to be god/ christian related.
****
****Also, unless this man bought his guns illegally, and we don't know that surely?...Assume he bought them legally, wouldn't you have thought that the FBI would have known that he was dishonourably discharged and therefore couldn't get hold of them ....legally...if that's the case, then why didn't the FBI know?
****
****anyway, I'll pray for them, think of them and light a candle for them.....

***From the news I've heard this morning the Air Force failed to report his court martial and "behavior" problems to the FBI. Breakdown in the "system" and human error. Who knows how often it happens.

**
**So hang it all on some AF personnelman who didn't make an entry in this guys service jacket and let's overlook why his supposed therapy while in the mental ward didn't work.
**
**You're right this unfortunately happens probably more than we know.
**
**I will still continue to pray for those left behind.
**

*
*I'm "hanging it" on the system that's supposed to work but obviously doesn't.
*
*Keep praying; I'm sure that's a great comfort to the families of the murdered.
*

NO system is ever infallible. Humans make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes lead to bad things being perpetrated by others.
Like you indicated, it probably happens more than we think.
What gets me is the DNC trying to turn this tragedy into a political issue with their anti-gun rants again.

It's the failure to document these unstable lunatics and keep them from getting guns not more gun laws. Criminals and terrorists love gun laws. It makes their efforts so much easier
when they know they are mowing down unarmed innocents.

Kudos to those who chased this jerk down so he didn't get away
alive.
