****Two of his fab 3 songs come to mind:
****No Reply - stalking
****Run for your Life - homicidal
****Norwegian Wood -burns down his girlfriends flat
****2 others, one from the fab years, and 1 from the solo years, come to mind for other reasons
****Yer Blues - suicidal
****Cold Turkey - self explanatory
*** Those would be the ones that would come to mind for me to. There might be a few others that I can't think of off hand. I can't imagine Cold Turkey working as a Beatles song. John apparently was pissed when Paul and George refused to work on it. If Paul and George had agreed I do think the song would've turned out somewhat differently. I don't think they would've been up for John's moaning and screaming at the end. It perhaps would've been recorded more in a Yer Blues type of style. But Cold Turkey definitely kind of foreshadowed the Plastic Ono Band album. In other words pretty raw.
**Getting Better comes to mind also with the line about being cruel and beating his woman
*Didn't Paul sing Getting Better? I always thought of it as one of his story-line songs, like Rita and She's Leaving Home, which are also on Pepper.

Pretty sure John wrote some lyrics as well. I think he mentions that he wrote that line in the Playboy interviews
