**Kind of changes your mind about him just a bit, although Boys was based on the Motown song 'Girls.' It just seems inappropriate coming from a man in his late 20s, though - no other band that I can think of would have touched it.

*You're 16 is sung from the perpestive of another teen. In the early 70's fifties nostalgia was in vogue with the American Graffiti movie being a big hit. Ringo just jumped on the bandwagon and had a big hit with this song.

I posted it tongue in cheek. Seems I did not anticipate the reaction I got - and that's a good thing!
