They've been defunct since 1970. so they've done nothing in decades. They were the last to go to iTunes, late to remaster the catalog, never included bonus tracks on any of the albums, etc. Groundbreaking at the time? Yes, mainly because of the Lennon/McCartney tune-smiths and to a very large degree the studio wizardry of George Martin. After the breakup all their warts and weaknesses became too apparent.
