**If you could be George Martin in 1968, and had full control of the White Album track selection, what would you keep, and what would you reject? The possibilties are endless, but here my lineup. It is difficult to do, since what we have is what I have known for almost 50 years.
**Anyhow, here goes:
**Back In The USSR
**While My Guitar Gently Weeps
**Martha My Dear
**Mother Nature's Son
**Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
**Long, Long, Long
**Side on is still mellow, and side two has most of the harder, rockier stuff. Gone are the ditties and short bursts of filler. Ditched are Rev #1 and Rev #9 - the single 45 had the definitive version. Goodbye the schmaltz of Honey Pie and Good night.
**Anyhow, it is fun to play producer, and anyone can choose their version.
*Wow - you left the best song on the whole album off!!
*Happiness is a Warm Gun
Obviously it's hard to imagine the White Album in any other form. But I'll take a shot at it just for fun.
1. Back in the U.S.S.R.
2. Dear Prudence
3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
4. Happiness Is A Warm Gun
5. Martha My Dear
6. Rocky Raccoon
7. Don't Pass Me By (Still have to give Ringo his one song.:)
8. I Will
11. Yer Blues
12. Sexy Sadie
13. Helter Skelter
14. Long, Long, Long
