**I read a review of the album in which Martin states that they went back to the mono master as the source of the remixing. My question is, how do you create a stereo mix from a mono master? I am totally confused. It sounds more like the awful Capitol Records Duophonic albums from the 60's. I must be completely missing something. Sorry for my ignorance.
* I'm not savy enough to know exactly how they pull it off. But the new Pepper stereo remix sounds better than the so called fake stereo that was around in the 60s. Maybe with the way technology has evolved they can do wonders in the studio.
I'm by no means "tech savvy" either but with the the mixing technique using some called Pro Tools I believe they are now able to "pull" each instrument out of the mix and place it wherever they want. I could be wrong. Help, I need somebody.......
Sorry. I got carried away. Is Daub still on this board? Mr.Klauss a.k.a. KHLP or something close do you have any idea. Technology is very incredible now. I AM a musician but know nothing about pro tools.
