*Not exactly new to these boards, but I kind of disappeared for a while. Anywho, I saw the special "The Night That Changed America", because I happen to be a Beatles fan, and I was just curious. Not bad, I have to say, with the exception of Katy Perry. I had to mute the sound when she came on. I was actually surprised that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr agreed to not only attend the show, but to perform as well. Their interview with David Letterman was good, too. It was interesting to hear their recollections. I have to wonder, though, since I read that they to be convinced by the producers of the show to appear, would the same have been said of John Lennon and George Harrison, if they had lived and were approached? I personally doubt they would have shown up, since John had put the past behind him, and George would have been busy overseeing the remastering of his solo catalogue, which is what he was doing before he died. He wasn't that much into public appearances, anyway, in his later days.
