*** Well this evening I went to the in store performance of Sean's band The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger who have a new album out called Midnight Sun. For those who heard the first album, it was mostly mellow acoustic songs. For this album Sean took the psychedelic/borderline hard rock route on most of the songs. In addition to Sean and his girlfriend Charlotte, the band had about four other members. In my opinion Sean has a decent but not great singing voice and it sounded like they added some echo to make him sound better. In my opinion Charlotte's actually a better singer. She had the lead on one song and I really dug her singing. But the thing that kept going through my head during the performance was "One of John Lennon's sons is right in front of me." There is something surreal about even seeing the son of a Beatle. I had a similar feeling when I saw Dhani Harrison at the same place a few years back.
*** After the performance was over everyone got on line and waited for the equipment to be put away and for the autograph table to be set up. I would say there was roughly 150-200 people there so of course I knew the time speaking to Sean and Charlotte would be brief. But my impression of them was that they are quite eccentric but still seem nice. And I will say that Charlotte is probably one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Sean's doing pretty good there.:)
*** I gave the album a listen when I got home. Some songs are really good and some need to grow on me.
**Was this where you were at?
* I just went to that link and it said the video was removed. But if the performance was listed as being at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ then it was the one I was at.

Yes, that is it, and it is up on youtube, here

The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger featuring Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl performing a full electric set at Vintage Vinyl Records in Fords, NJ in May 2014.

Maybe you did not put it in right, because the link works fine with me and it is still working on youtube- I think Vintage Records are the ones who put it up so I don't think it would be taken down
