*** Which Lennon era is more akin to your personality now?
***
***
***
***The witty with an edge Beatle John period?
***
***
***
***The peacenik Bed-In days?
***
***
***the more radical period involving Jerry Rubin and Abbie Hoffman?
***
***
***Or the 1980 John as he comes across in the Playboy Interviews?
***
***
***Maybe you feel that all eras are present in your personality to the same or varying degrees...
***
***
***What do you think?

** I would say certain aspects of each period except for Lennon's radical era are present in my personality. The radical period is really the only era of John's life that I don't like. In later years I believe he kind of regretted it. It's not that his beliefs were bad but it was who was hanging out with and also it got him in a lot of trouble with the government.

*Yes, he expressed that regret quite clearly in the 1980 interviews,

"not to mention the hypocrisy he and Yoko witnessed regarding the way their radical pals treated the women..."

for real
