**HJ (below) has the social consciousness of a 6th grader...pure child-like viewpoints towards the world.

**I go easy on Winston. I would not want to go through what he has over the last year or so.
**
**However, I realize what folks like him, pycb and murray are....they are old white guys who hate everything the United States is becoming.

*I appreciate the sentiment. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's been tough but I'm holding up well. Hard to believe she's been gone 10 months already. I still have my "moments" though.
*But don't think for one minute that the loss of my wife has pushed me over the edge on politics or some silly thought like
*that. I say what I think and what I believe.
*
*Old white guys(?!) Yeah.. who still believe in freedom as guaranteed by our Constitution..something Obama and his minions are stomping on almost on a daily basis.
*Old white guys who remember when this country prospered and didn't have to worry about all the bullshit we are dealing with now.
*and
*Old white guys who will always use connivery, experience and know how that will always outdo youth and "wisdom".
*
*The idea that BlackMonk is race baiting isn't very nice.
*I stated a fact and there is always someone who will call it "racist" .. they just can't help themselves I guess.
*Obama won because of race... proven fact like it or not.
*The numbers don't lie.

Did you know that 88% of African-Americans voted for Kerry in 2004?

90% of African-Americans voted for Gore in 2000.

84% of African-Americans voted for Clinton in 1996, and 83% in 1990.

Are you noticing any sort of trend here???

African-Americans predominately vote for the Democratic candidate. You can look at those charts and see that the percentage of Hispanic vote in all the elections was similar to the most recent election as well, between 55-70%.

This has nothing to do with race other than the fact that those two races have a higher percentage of registered Democrats.

So, to say that Barrack Obama won solely based on race is ignorant and ignoring the actual facts. Ignorance is generally associated with racism, so you can see why people will make that leap.
