****"And the ONLY reason Obama is in a second term is because of the black and hispanic vote and most people know that."
****
****Actually, Romney lost with most demographics, but look at what this says. If someone has a large non-white vote, it makes his election less legitmate. Non-whites, according to Winston, evidently aren't real Americans.
****
****The ONLY reason Obama is in a second term is because the majority of Americans wanted him to be there.
****
****
****Now I'm curious as to who is going to repudiate his vileness and who is going to make excuses for him because he doesn't like Obama.
****
***
***
***Another attempt at calling someone racist just because I don't agree with Obama. Pretty pathetic.
***
***In case you ever decide to check into it yourself...
***Demographics of the 2012 show blacks with 96%, Latinos 71% and whites 39% voted for Obama. It's fair to say that Obama won because of the blacks and Latinos. FACT.
***
***Not racist intended but realistically Obama won based on race.
***I call it for what it is.
***
***If you want to do some research on the numbers go right ahead but don't try to bait people against me because you're narrow minded.
***
***
**
**What are the actual numbers though? I mean, to say 96% and 71% vs 39% is based on race if every race had 1 million voters shows a discrepancy in the numbers. But let's say only 1 million African Americans voted, 1.5 million Latinos voted and 8 million whites voted. All of a sudden the percentages, while vastly different are in reality quite similar numbers-wise; thus negating the race equation.
*
*As a post script, what happens when/if we have two white candidates again? Does race play a factor? The black and Latino vote still counts as much towards the white guy as it does against the non white guy. I'm sure you didn't mean any actual racist remarks by stating what you stated, but from an outside perspective, it does make it seem like the black and Latino vote only mattered in this election based solely on race. What about when Bush won a large % of the Latino vote? You can't just say "well, all the Mexicans voted for Obama because he's a minority" without coming across a little racist. Perhaps they voted for him for other reasons.
*
*Like I said, I'm not saying your remarks were made to be purposefully racist, but to someone on the outside, it's easy to see how it could be construed that way. Just some food for thought.

I can assure everyone my comments weren't intended to be racist.

I was stating it as a fact and now it's all this..
(that sounds familiar)

Demographics of the 2012 race show beyond a doubt that had it not been for the black and Latino vote, Obama would have lost.
I've talked to a number of blacks, hispanics and asians (too) and several of them said the same thing..they felt Obama won because he was black. We can't really make a comparison to
previous elections prior to 2008 because we never had the choices
we had in 2008 and 2012.
So it is something unique to our history that for the first time we have a minority member as President. So wouldn't it make sense that minorities would vote for him because of that fact?
Common sense would suggest .. yes.
And in my conversations with the above individuals it seems to hold some truth to it.
