The reason they don't want it is because they don't care for the idea of being forced to support those individuals that are merely living off the system and don't want to work. In the past several years the Welfare and Unemployment rolls have more than tripled and alot of those people are realizing now that they don't have to work in order to make it through from one month to the next. We're being conditioned to accept it. So many families out there living on the government and sadly they continue to encourage their younger generations to do the same.. "Hey you don't have to work if you don't want to...others will pay for you"..is their mantra.
I'm part of the 63% READ that says Obamacare is using the wrong approach because it makes those who HAVE pay for those who HAVE NOT by sacrificing what we have earned in our own right. Its called share the wealth...pure SOCIALISM. Now the government steps in and says this is what you WILL do. Again that's Socialism. We're being slowly but surely into something our forefathers never wanted. A tyrannical state.
How do they get away with it?
The problem is alot of people don't get into politics and they don't take the time to educate themselves about what is really what...they go about their own little daily lives completely oblivious to what the people in DC are doing. That's why these politicians continually get away with their constant shenanigans
(just like they are doing right now) because they know there will never be enough people that are aware and educated enough about it to make them stop. The sad thing is when Obamacare gets off the ground alot more people are going to discover it's pitfalls. 63% of people say Congress should still go after Obamacare and refine/fix it and make it into something more people will agree on...I agree with them. And that's what the Republicans basically are trying to do but the Democrats couldn't care less. They are bound and determined to ram this down our throats pitfalls and all. And it's going to show more and more as the next weeks go by.
Sorry you think it's racist to say that Obama won because of the black and hispanic vote but it is proven FACT. The figure don't lie.
