** I hear a lot of vintage Todd Rundgren, especially Todd's early work with Nazz... I believe one of the guys in Tame Impala has admitted to being a huge Rundgren fan...

**
** Their album 'Innerspeaker' is very nice as well.....

An interesting listen but I greatly prefer the whomp factor of the original... Made me think of what Lennon said about the version of 'Revolution' from the '1967-1970' album..

"It was a heavy record and they turned it into a piece of ice cream."

I think Todd went off the rails after 'The Ever Popular Tortured Artist Effect' lp... I love the Nazz albums and his solo work from 1970 -1974 though... And Utopia's 'Deface The Music' is a fun listen.. Especially if you played the Rutles right before it.....
