*I think you're overlooking the point of both, confusing objectification with a critique of objectification. The point of beauty contests is "look at these attractive women. Don't they look good," Do you really think the point of Fly is "look at this nude woman. Isn't she hot?"
Yes, if it's art and has some point , then it's perfectly fine if women decide to display whatever they like...
See that's what I'm getting at...Women make a choice pose nude in some magazines and they're considered sluts.... But let them show it all for a famous photographer like Helmut Newton, Scavullo, and quite a few others. Then it becomes art.What's shown can be exactly the same but one photo is smut and one is art...
I've always been fascinated by that fine line...
