**Beatles’ new album collects unreleased BBC sessions, due out in November

**LONDON—The Beatles plan to release a new collection of the band’s BBC sessions, including commercially unreleased recordings and studio chatter.
**
**The CD and vinyl release of On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 is planned for Nov. 11 will be a follow-up to the wildly successful Live at the BBC album released in 1994.
**The new compilation comes from BBC radio broadcasts in 1963 and 1964, when the band was making dozens of appearances in BBC studios. It will feature 37 previously unreleased performances.
**
**Most of the recordings have a live feel and capture the Beatles in a relaxed, informal setting. In addition to early Lennon-McCartney compositions, they play a number of Chuck Berry songs and other works by rock pioneers.
**The new release will include different versions of some of the songs from the first Live at the BBC album.
**
**A remastered version of the earlier album will also be released in November. It topped record charts on its release, selling more than 5 million copies worldwide in its first six weeks.

* I must say that this release is coming as a bit of a surprise. A Beatles performance of Glad All Over sounds interesting. Assuming it's the same song that the Dave Clark Five did.

* I think I read that part of the reason why it's taken so long to do a Live at the BBC follow up is because a lot of the tracks were hard to find.
It's about time something "new" came out instead of all the stupid re-re-re-remastered stuff.There's still plenty of unreleased stuff us hardcore fans will buy.I don't care what anyone says.So there!!!!!!!Followup Messages:
