Money rules, so. Not right though, as with any time a business controls or tries to control decisions of our representatives.

Another issue is that with the majority of gmo's actually proven to be safer and less costly for consumers, (despite the unfounded fear of some).

Similar to force-breeding horses or dogs, GM is a desired end product so to speak, (ruff!). Just that food costs less for the most part. Education needs to be given and understood to make the choice of buying any food that is labeled for anything in it, or how it is made.

That way, ALL labels on, people can make their choice, depending on either accurate or inaccurate knowledge. The scared people without full knowledge of any label though, "could" be eating things worse for them, (depending on the specific product of course with the GMO), and will pay more for them. So, having labels on should ALSO come with "full double sided info" in some booklet at the food markets, I guess. ??? Info is key to avoid knowing just one side, pro or con.

"Scientific American" has two thorough, fact-finding articles concerning GMO's. Pros and Cons are fully presented. (Find those neutral articles in the "FOOD issue" out now). Orange/Red looking magazine cover. It's food for thought! :) Two sided info, to come to your own conclusion, as anything should be "digested" :)!

Enjoy! Never get just one side to anything, for that just makes it hard to break the conviction part of our brains. (as I told my kids and my grandkids now, "Be A Sponge" and take in everything it can absorb! That's more fun too, being either proven right, or to learn more and to just be happy for that. I'm happier when proven wrong, for I know I then have more info to better think and decide things. That happened to me on the Trayvon case, just for one example.

Johnny
