Justice?

Ohio man who held 3 women captive found dead

I've always questioned why the penal system tries to prevent suicide. Let the fucks kill themselves if they feel they deserve it. He admitted his guilt, and he executed himself as penalty. I believe that to be justice. What does a thousand year sentence do???

Some believe that suicide is the easy way out. They would prefer he live a life of misery in prison and suffer for his crimes. Why? What does that do? Somehow 20 years of misery in prison makes amends and is better punishment than self-inflicted death? This is a horrific case, and I don't know what was in this guy's head, but I'm OK with his choice to end his life. He ruined multiple lives...taking his own seems to be the only appropriate action.
