**Below -- copied and pasted an interaction from the Starbucks thread. How about all of you opposed to healthcare for all explain why you think that some people are undeserving of affordable health care. I really want to know why you feel that way and also where you think the costs for the uninsured come from. Because the uninsured DO still get their care, in a very expensive way -- by visiting the ER. Where does that money come from? Do you really think hospitals are charitable organizations that exist to provide health care for all regardless of ability to pay? They do provide it... but it's not charity. It's on the backs of everyone who pays for health care. What do you think about that? That's YOUR back, MY back. Is that how you want it?
**
**I challenge all those opposed to universal healthcare to explain their positions on these matters.
**
**And for those of you who don't have any use for doctors and medicine please refrain from responding. Vitamins and exercise don't cure everything.

**"It's not even about the working middle class anymore, as the middle class in this country is disappearing. It's about the working poor. Is there any recognition among these anti-healthcare people that there is a huge population of Americans who are working full time earning wages that don't provide the basic necessities? These people are trying to earn an honest living without "sponging" off other peoples' taxes but they can't afford rent, food, child care. What do you think they do when their kid has an earache? They go to the ER, because the ER can't/won't turn them away. Do you think that's free? If so, you're delusional.
**
**I have asked time and time again the same question: "Who do you think foots the bills for the uninsured in this country?" and no one has the balls to answer, because they *know* the truth. But to admit it negates their arguments. I could pull a murray here and start a thread challenging the anti-healthcare reform people to answer this simple question -- DEMAND an answer -- because I have yet to see an acknowledgement that what we have now costs ALL of us and is very "broken."
**
**Talk about the ostrich effect. Maybe I *will* originate a thread after all."

* I doubt you'll get any real answers because your challenge is built on a falsehood...Those opposed to Obamacare are not opposed to the idea of health care reform altogether... This has been pointed out to you numerous times and it still doesn't seem to take hold...

*
* What you're doing is a bit like someone claiming others hate Chevys because there is one Chevy model they don't like and the only Chevy they've ever knocked is that one model..

I won't get any *real* answers? The question is: Who is paying the price for all the uninsured right now?

Copy and paste: "Who do you think foots the bills for the uninsured in this country?"

It has been my experience that those opposed to the current health care reform are the ones who dodge this question without fail. Case in point.
