**On the one hand, I'm proud of it. On the other, I'm sick of it.

* What I heard brought to mind some of R. Stevie Moore's 'out there' offerings... I can take those in limited quantities if they're balanced with the quirky melodic rock and pop he also brings to the table...

*Admittedly, this is based on a sampling of each track...

* Congratulations though. . I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into it.

Thanks. Funny, I thought of it AS quirky pop with only a couple of really out there moments. I guess the line between inside and outside is different for everyone. When I was doing this, the arrangements kept going between, roughly, Television/Beefheart and Beatles/Brian Wilson and every time I thought it would lean toward one, it went toward the other. (That said, the one time I consciously tried to sound like someone else, it was a coda where I went for a Mamas and Papas sound. Oh, and there are a couple of Rev. Gary guitar licks, albeit in a completely non-blues setting.)

One thing I'm proud of that might put people off is that while these generally have basic song forms, the arrangements aren't predictable. I tried not to have anything where a person could listen to a verse or two and know what the rest of the sound sounded like.
