Obama Promises 'Shot Across The Bow'

Obama says any response to chemical attacks in Syria would be a "shot across the bow" and not an open-ended conflict like Iraq. He says we must send Assad a message in the interests of the region's security as well as out own. He has to be given a message not to do such things again.
Okay. Where's the message to the rebels in response to the slaughter Christian men, women, and children? Any second thoughts about supplying arms to those who behead priests and proudly life their severed heads up for all the world to see?
No interest in sending a message to these sick bastards, Obama?
