But from their future remarks, you would think they knew Bush's charge was bogus all along...

Everyone on the inside circle in Washington knew damn well there were WMD in Iraq. We gave the stuff ourselves to Saddam back in the 80's remember? Since the stuff can't go back Iraq anymore, the Syrians figure they can now use it. The team that is over there now looking for it, I hope they are smarter than Blix and his team of incompetents were.
