*****fraud and lawsuits

****Yep, and the costs of drugs, and simple procedures such as MRI's.
****
****A quick one for my knee's torn MCL would have been around $2000.
****I just nursed it back to some stable health myself, learning rehab techniques for the muscles around it. The operation would have been another 5,000. or so, with all the add on's.
****
****So, in this case, I didn't support the high prices of the two actions, saving the insurance company and me some do ray me. And, I get around better than most 30 year olds! :) Running still, soccer with the grandkids, baseball, rollerblading whatever!
****
****People seem to jump to having to get something done,(if insured, or in a social health country, which sends more people to the higher priced items, which the insurance companies have to keep pace with, or the taxes have to remain high or get higher. (England, for example). What is their tax rate now? If a person is working in a social health country, then they sure are paying a lot for their procedures, just at every pay check time, over and over. NOTHING is FREE. If free to someone, then someone else is paying for it.

***you obviously haven't even bothered to watch this - rather sticking to old thoughts- try a somewhat open mind and listen to the whole thing - England pays LESS taxes than the US for health care - try listening without blinders or preconceived opinions for a change or maybe you can't

**Hey dipshit, what's with your attitude toward me in the past months? Back off. I was merely giving my viewpoints. Is there a link? I did NOT see one. I just read what was in the post and pushed "reply". So, try being a little understanding and not so meat-head like, like I am doing now! :) Thanks
*
*it doesn't take much to see there was a link - which shows you just regurgitated a preconceived response - you love to pontificate on this board but WON'T (in your vernacular) even CONDESCEND (in your vernacular) to LISTENING to the link
*
*as for the dipshit comment - piss off...

As for your piss off, take a dipshit! LOL

I went back and looked that the post, and noticed there was a link, so I must have just went on the tittle of the post and clicked reply to answer your question as I thought I knew it to be. But, I just NOW watched that video. And, WOW! First, that guy must have done his homework. There were at least some graphs! Don't know where they came from, but assuming they are accurate, (for who is going to get bad graphs with talking about such things in a mathematical way?), I will give a complete about face on this topic and acknowledge I was WRONG in my viewpoints. Take that fact and see how many others anywhere can do that! I WAS WRONG!!!!!!!! I had for a long time heard doctors and other edumacated people talk about lawsuits and drug companies and fraud as being the main reasons. They, having more education in that field than me, TRUSTED what they said. BUT, if that guy was even half right, I can see how COSTS of everything for things in the US "has" made the cost of healthcare TOO expensive.

I will now gladly piss-off! You can now not be a dipshit!

You should know too, that I do NOT get mad or demeaning here in my tone of what I type, unless I'm really upset about something serious/personal. RARE. When I say dipshit, or Fk off,,or anything, it is not in any mad or demeaning way of my tone.
That is how I took your piss off comment, to give you the benefit of the doubt. I always try to do that. Would be great if everyone did that for me. Thanks!

I LOVE learning. I ONLY give my viewpoints at the time. IN no way do I think I need to hold onto them. Learning allows to be wrong, to correct assumptions, to rethink things. No prob. I enjoyed that guy and his info. In less than 8 minutes, he said more than most presidents do in four years!
