*MoneyWatch A coalition of labor, religious and other groups are calling for a nationwide strike of fast-food employees on August 29.

Having the companies lose business that day, along with food going bad in some cases, which means even more losses, will not have the companies do anything but call their family members in and other people who want to work that day to pitch in.

Losses for the day could affect some companies to fire some people here and there, to try to make up for the losses.

Workers need to be taught how to be the best at their jobs to then have leverage to negotiate their wages on an individual basis. Or, go get another job somewhere else. No one held them at gunpoint to work at any fast food place. They were all told what the wages are, and how any evaluation and possible raises occur.

Many people are OUT of work. And those WITH a job are going to take a day off to hurt the business they are working for?!
Let's see how "that" plays out! Striking is a right that is sometimes not the wisest move. Let the game begin on the 29th. I bet I know the final score.
