**Flash forward to 1986..My mom's jsu recently been diagnosed with a type of cancer known as multiple myeloma...One day, she site me down and says that she has something important to tell me...She asks if I remember the cocker spaniel. Of course, I say. he was stolen. She tells me he wasn't stolen. She says she gave him away because after working all day, she just couldn't deal with caring for a dog and me too... She couldn't bring herself to tell me he wasn't stolen until almost 25 years later...
