*Our oldest chihuahua and I play-fight often.. She'll roll over on her back and I'll lightly grab her front or back paws and she'll play-bite me. Each time I stop, she gives me the look and that look captures her spirit...It says "What are you gonna do now, daddy?" and that face is full of love, trust, joy, anticipation, and loyalty. This is the look that makes me wonder how anyone could harm such a treasure.. Our little girl has given us at least ten lifetimes worth of love and devotion in the seven plus years since we first saw her in a cage at a flea market...Her eyes gave a very distinct message, namely "You know I don't belong in this cage. I belong with you."

How's that feral porch critter doing?

I'm quite sad that I have to report that my beloved moggie Maximus Nautinus has gone walkabout...havent seen him since middle of July.,, I do hope he comes home safe.

Anyway, there's an old saying 'if your dog doesn;t like someone, then you probably shouldnt either'
