* Absolutely top-notch stuff.. I am quite taken with some volumes from the "According To Spike Milligan" series... His versions of "Lady Chatterley's Lover", "Wuthering Heights" and "Robin Hood" could make a boulder laugh... Some of the later books in the series don't quite measure up.. You can almost tell that Spike was tiring of writing them and the zest of the first few had dwindled..."The Looney" is also a very funny book..

So far, 'hitler' is the onyl Spike Milligan book I have read, it was a long time ago, I remember enjoying it though.
