* Bring in a group of admitted liberals to judge a painting. In your intro, be sure to leave the message that the artist is a liberal activist in some way before the painting is unveiled. Then get their opinions on the painting....Next bring in another painting by the same artist. In your intro, leave the clear message that the painter is a conservative activist, perhaps even a Tea Party member. Then have the group give their opinions on the painting.

*
*Repeat process with conservative groups and artists who are liberal.

*The results might well turn out to be interesting.

*Will their feelings on the painters' political views influence their opinion of his artwork?
Probably, who knows??
I think too you could include a sort of control where the artist's political leaning is not described in any way at all......
I'm sure studies like this are undertaken by undergrads all the time......if you had access to campus libraries, you could probably search for them.
