Been a 10 since I first heard my mother's voice,,,,and I'm not talking about when first in the hospital! LOL Before that most likely. Wired for FUN and Adventure!
Now? 10 plus, despite hearing about the loss of my long time baseball battery mate form some teams in little league through two separate teams while in high school. Why the plus on that 10? That guy made everyone's day better just being himself and making us all laugh, even during championship games when I was on the mound! So, I know he must be egging me on with his positive energy to NOT think about his passing as a bad thing. He was very ill for a while. I can only see him as he was all those years! BIG smiles and laughs like Santa! One funny, great guy! Would tell the batters to not get too close to the plate, for Johnny doesn't have control today! LOL..They would back out just a hair, and then I would paint the outside corner. When they moved in, I would blast a higher pitch on the inside! LOL...If they just stood there,,he would say, "You feeling lucky today"? LOL....Then I would throw a hard curve at them that would break over the plate as they bailed out big time also from him yelling "LOOK OUT"! Strike! LOL...We had some great times doing all kinds of those things started by him. We all called him Mo! I feel VERY fortunate right now for knowing him for decades!Followup Messages:
