*I am not surprised how you didn't disown her. Who would do that anyway? It's just all about who anyone is attracted to, which is mainly how any of us are hard wired when a fetus. She is who she is in many ways, not just any one aspect of herself. Again, no surprised to know you can appreciate your daughter's way. As any father should.

She's got the same smile she had before we knew she was gay. Same laugh. Same habits which are responsible for some grey hair on both our heads. Same appreciation for things she could just as well discard because they're enjoyed by old farts. We still look at her sometimes and get these flashes of a 10-year old before us instead of a 32 year-old woman. 32? How did that happen?
We just want her to be happy and get all out of life she possibly can. And we'd just as worried if she was unhappy with a male partner as we would with a female partner...
