The Script

As Tony leafed though the script once again, an uneasiness began to grow inside him. What had seemed so true-to-life just a few weeks ago now seem hopelessly contrived and calculated. The solid structure seemed to peel away right before his eyes with each page of dialogue. Hell, he was a star, wasn't he? The money would remain the same. He didn't have to retain the same level of faith he had in the script to do his job and do it with the utmost skill.


He took a sip of red wine before he walked over to the computer to check the latest box office receipts.
