The Defeat Of Summer

Just two months ago Summer was a heavyweight champion who could pound all challengers into submission. He was fierce as well and much loved by children. Now he has suffered a couple of withering defeats. He isn't as sure-footed as the heavyweight who danced around the ring just a short while ago. Soon, he will suffer his greatest loss yet. The championship belt will go to another. He will emerge from the ring dazed. He will be haunted by the memory of the bold and confident man who once drew cheers.
He will have to get his bearings and restore his strength in order to enter that ring once again.
Another will steal the spotlight with a colder air about him. Children do not warm to him as easily.
Nonetheless, he will stand triumphant.
