Ben Pawtucket's Widow

Posted by **murray** on Aug 17, 2013 at 4:05:22 PM:

Ben Pawtucket's widow

had her own response to grief

in Joseph Crinkleheffer's arms is where she found relief

By bouncing back so fast

She thus acquired local fame

She healed in all the time it takes

To say "Insurance claim"

From the 1984 poetry volume 'Poetickles' by Sir Arthur Murray Bitterkunt
