**Why do you think it wouldn't be okay if it was a white Dem president? I could see people doing this with Clinton, and if he wasn't so distant in people's memories, Carter too, without any problems. As I said below, historical context matters, and the both of you appear to be willfully ignoring that.

Some just don't understand that it's always been a tradition to make fun of our leaders. Obama should not be an exception.
I wonder how many people were offended at Halloween time with all those who chose to wear Obama masks? (kids and adults alike).

It's a double standard. It's ok to make fun if they are white but by God don't you dare go making fun of our black President!
