*Where I work we now have 45 job openings and not enough qualified applicants to fill them. Existing employees are earning time and a half to fill the hours of these vacant positions. These are entry level jobs. All they have to do is have a high school diploma or GED and 3 professional references (and be able to fill out an application appropriately) and be literate. Don't tell me there are no jobs or full-time jobs or anything of the sort. We got 'em! And so do a lot of other employers! The quality of the applicants we get is abysmal, no doubt due to "no child left behind" the catastrophic ruin of the GWB administration. HS graduates these days can barely spell their own names. It's disgraceful.
