RIP Allen Lanier Of Blue Oyster Cult

Allen Lanier, founding member of Blue Oyster Cult had died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 67...
He was also once Patti Smith's boyfriend...
I dug the Cult a lot and kept up with them closely from their first album ('72 I think) to the 'Agents of Fortune' album which featured their mega-hit, 'Don't Fear The Reaper'... Got off the train at that point although I did dig their tune 'Godzilla' which came a little later down the road...Followup Messages:
