*ahh, it's growing pains - kicking and screaming - it'll happen here and there - some will squawk and make noise and some will hear them and think the world is falling apart and amplify their signal to make it seem even more extreme but 20 years down the road the majority will be saying, 'how'd we ever lived without it'. much like seat-belts (man i remember the screaming and shouting over that one) and banning smoking in various places - oh the government has no right to impose on our freedoms - now everyone loves that you can go out and not inhale 2nd hand smoke and seat belts are a way of life.

Social security might be a better example. I'm wondering about the intelligence of anyone who falls for that "I'm only cutting my employees' hours because of Obamacare" story. If you can make a major reduction in your workforce in one stroke, there's something wrong with your business.

Have you noticed that when people support Obamacare, they use statistics and when they oppose it, they use anecdotes? No matter what you do, there are going to be some people who are adversely affected and therefore anecdotal evidence against it.
