It's the setup of the old style board that is the problem, due to costs, of course.
On Just Plain Folks, for example, there are many forums, for specific discussions.
If that setup was here, the Letterbox would then have many topic forums.
So, say some wanted to post a thread about food, or recipes. There could be a forum for such talk! "Food Talk And Recipes".
Same for "Links or Discussion for Coverups". And, "Fancy That!" (about anything that is lighthearted and amusing to the thread starter, as in jokes or whatever that someone fancies!
On and on, forum after forum, all under the Letterbox heading!
Those who wish to never even see title posts of anyone for any topic, don't have to sift down the one page of the current Letterbox. hey just look for a specific topic heading and read whoever, from all those posts!
But, again, that takes money.
Until any change, we are stuck with having to scroll down and down just to see the replies to any of our posts or from our earlier replies. And no pages to go get one from way back. (could be page 1, page 2, and so on, for any forum. Hippie's topic threads would have about 800 pages so far! Each filled with many topics, (in the "Links and Discussion for Coverups" forum.
No one would have to even enter that forum if not wanting to.
But for now, we either deal with this setup or not. Hippie is not doing anything out of the rules here. There is no limit set by any automatic thread count, nor by Sam. Just like our mailboxes at home, or in emails, we just have to sift through to what we want to read, in the format of this website.
