*********The problem is that there are so few posters left nowadays, most gave up because of the constant spam, as I pretty much have done so now. A web board needs a far greater number of regulars and even then it can still become stale.

They could have countered any spam by posting topics of their own...And it's pure speculation when it comes to the number of those who left because of the spam...Some people were unable to deal with any opinions which differed from their own, preferring some Groupthink board ...Perhaps they found one... Some may have been fascinated for a period of time and the fascination wore off.....Who knows for sure if trying a different route would result in bringing new blood to Letterbox...One thing I'm certain of is that what is going on now isn't working to that end...

Look at it this way, if I said "If you, Murray, are a child molester, you should be put in jail," you could very well be offended that the question carries the suggestion that you might be a child molester and not want to engage me in a dialogue about why you aren't a child molester.

What am I saying about Obama supporters here that is so offensive and offbase? ...Do you deny that they do not go on record to criticize the man over anything? That's a fact with some... So for those who will not go on record, why won't you?,, I can't make you do so...I can't even make you tell me why you won't do so... Bur for some reason, people will fight tooth and nail to keep from explaining why they feel Obama is entitled to the kind of loyalty they exhibit..
