***** I'll provide some possible explanations and you can decide which ones fall closest to how you feel... Maybe it'll be Partly A and Partly D and so on. .Who knows but here goes:
*****
*****
*****
*****
*****
*****A.) Obama has done nothing I disagree with.
*****
*****
*****B.)I disagree with some things he's done but I believe the good he's done far outweighs the bad and therefore the bad isn't worth mentioning...
*****
*****
*****C.) He's disappointed me sometimes but I can't give his detractors the satisfaction of admitting that...
*****
*****
*****
*****D.) I consider myself a proud Democrat and that requires me to support Obama whether I believe he is wrong or right...
*****
*****
*****E.) I only care about how his policies impact me personally and others in situations similar to mine...... If it doesn't have a profound impact on me or those like me, I couldn't give a damn...
*****
*****
*****
*****
*****
*****If none of these come close to explaining why you cannot verbalize disagreement with Obama, please feel free to provide your own explanation...Thank you and drive stately...
****
****
****I've thought of another possibility "If I disagree with Obama I'd be a racist"

***
***Yes, I thought later that I should have added at least one more possibility...Something concerning the profound historical significance of his being the first black president and how that monumental step forward must not be tarnished by any hint of scandal or corruption... Too big to fail...
***
***
***Wouldn't rule that out...
**
**If someone suggested that the reason some people here don't ever praise Obama is because they don't want to accept a black president, would you object?
**
**
**Here's a question. If you think someone never criticizing Obama is so noteworthy that you look for alternative reasons to the simplest possibility, that they simply never disapprove of what he's done strongly enough to object, should people who never praise Obama be scrutinized in a similar way?
**
**
*
*
* Scrutinize all you like.. You ask me why I don't praise Obama any more than I do, I'd be more than happy to tell you why... I don't believe people have much confusion as I've been very outspoken with my criticism of Obama in the last four years,,,
*
*
*
*Far more open than those who won't even say why they do not regard any of his actions as being worthy of criticism..

Yes, you've been outspoken in your criticism, but not your praise. That's the point. Is it because you're a racist? Because you're afraid of praising Obama because it would require you to admit that previous statements of yours were wrong? Because you don't want to give his supporters the satisfaction?

Or do you believe that you can legitimately not consider anything he's done as worthy of praise? If that's so, then why don't people who take an identical position in support of Obama deserve the same consideration: that they're being honest in their beliefs?
