*** Hi All,
*** Just wanted to get any impressions of the current tour. I'll be seeing Paul at Safeco Field in Seattle on 7/19. I've been fortunate enought to catch most of his North American tours starting with Wings Over America(1st show of his I saw in Toronto. Saw him last in 09 at "The Joint" in Vegas.
*** Not certain how I feel about this set list. I feel that the 05 set list was among his strongest with songs like Please Please me, She came in throught the bathroom window, To many people, and many others.
*** Every tour is special and I like the way he tries to do stuff that he has never done on tour before.
*** Any thoughts/comments?
**Looks like you got to see the remnants of Nirvana play with Paul in Seattle.
***SHow was awesome. Paul was in excellent voice. Grohl/NIrvana was outrageous. Energy was high throughout the show. Really kicked into gear during the encore with the "Guests". Paul did "long tall sally" at Grohls suggestion. 1st show ever at Safeco was a big hit. I could have lived w/o "all together now" in the set list, however, they pulled it off. All in all, in my top 3 mccartney shows ever.
