****If the people can't stop crimes, especially by crowds, who else to deal with the lowlifes looking for trouble? The bobbies have to keep up with the times, and deal with life threatening criminals and their weapons more and more. This isn't the stick in the hand kind of days gone by. England has many more criminal folks than ever, right? if so, what would you suggest be done to try to keep the good people from harm?

** Town council run meetings. To bring up points of concern. To hear all that the town is planning to do, then to have the town's people speak up about it.

**Wow, if that is not happening over there, I would suggest seek to get them started in your town. Every town in the US, as far as I know, have weekly town meetings, where the mayor, the town clerk, and the council members for that town run a meeting for the town's people to attend, if they want. Usually, a small crowd shows up compared to the population of any given town, then they share knowledge with neighbors, depending how serious things are for ant topic brought up. Like in a 13,000 people town, usually about 50 people show up at the municipal building to hear what's on the agenda for the town, and to speak up about anything if they want to. The more serious a topic, the more people will show up. One time, some towns around here made the news, for the masses showed up to demonstrate an issue.

**The Minutes are taken by the clerk or someone else. My sister is the town clerk for a town next door to my town. She had lived there while being named clerk, then after she moved back to our birth town, she was still wanted, and a proposal was put up, which the people did not protest against. She, like somewhat for me, is very well loved around these parts.

**Many issues are either passed or fought, with the people voicing their concerns, to have a watchdog affect going on for any issue of the town's.

**So, without being involved in town's activity, which includes the police in any given town, people will not know until it's too late as to what they plan to do and why.

*This proposed legislation is a parliamentary initiative, which elected representatives vote on to pass. Citizens can lobby their representative, which is why using the internet is a great means to disseminate information, hence I've shared it here,...there is a petition to sign too if this legislation directly affects you....

Legislation for widespread issues can also be affected here as there. I am talking about each town having their own meetings, for those town issues that can crop up, including activity by the town's police.
