*****How so not? My mother,,,raised POOR as can be, (minor father in strike for 11 years), saved for years to relocate to the US. 2 years she had to save up, to meet up with my dad who went back to the US as a soldier, a year before she was finally ABLE to leave.

*****I call BULLSHIT as to your "so NOT". People with little or no money having NO choice? How dare you think so little of poor people. Ask any immigrant. You need something even more dramatic to show you how wrong you are? How about Cuba, in 1960. Picture those very poor people. Well, I grew up with a family on this 5th Avenue in Barrington, called the Fernandez's. LOOK them up if you wish. Find Geairge and ask him all this for his detailed story:, But as I recall, as knowing it way back when, they ALL escaped Cuba, being extremely poor and unhappy, hidden in boats,,,,2 at a time,,with the last kid, (George), being very scared of course. He, and his older brother, Faustino, (Fuzzy), said MANY did that back then. To GET OUT, and start a whole new life! Legally too for here. They went right to the authorities and begged to stay, to get registered to later become citizens. And you say,,,"it's So NOT"? Talk about glasses that need to be changed! :) YOURS. You need THINKING glasses! :)...BUT< I understand how would not know that sort of experiences by people, for it probably hasn't been covered by Jones yet! hahaha

Do you not even know about the millions of people WITHOUT funds that HAVE relocated? As I said in the reply, which I guess, you, like HJ, didn't read enough to get detailed explanations and examples, ask any immigrants in the US or other places HOW they did it WITHOUT funds coming out their wazoo!
But I do understand that it's easier for some not to relocate, and just complain about everything. We get that here too.
Tradition is not new there, so what;s with the sudden realization about taxes over royalty events. Are you that negative that you can;t even see some joy in the traditional aspect of,,,or at least how the parents seem to be at least charming?
