"White" refers to a race (let's leave aside the fact that the concept of "races" is biologically meaningless when it comes to people and is more a sociological construct) and "Latino" refers to ethnicity. As a matter of fact, the idea of "white Hispanics" is unremarkable and is even recognized by the US census.

*****I doubt it. Not only does he not have Amerindian features, but there aren't many Indians named Zimmerman. Anyway, you're assuming that he has black and Amerindian ancestors on his mother's side. It's a reasonable assumption, but so is that he has Caucasian ancestors on his mother's side. You have to go to either geneology or genetic testing to be certain about the black and Amerindian parts of his heritage, not so the Caucasian part. This isn't true of Obama.

Zimmerman's mother wasn't Brazilian, she was Peruvian. Peru is a Spanish-speaking country.
