So where is Reverend Al?

Right on cue
Adding in his contribution to the chaos as usual..
The jury has spoken. Even Obama has stated it.
In most cases that means case CLOSED. Go home!
So why is the Federal Government and Al Sharpton (playing his usual race card) intervening into it AFTER the verdict
and trying to keep bringing Zimmerman to trial until they get
a conviction?
What is the REAL motive for it all?
Is it for the appeasement of those that still think he's guilty?
Is it because Trayvon was black and 17 years old?
Is it because the media constantly portrayed Trayvon as
an innocent teen by putting up younger pictures of him in order
to sway public opinion?
Was it really an act of self defense?
The hard evidence showed that ballistics proved Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman at the time he was shot (which means that Martin was the aggressor at that time). The evidence shows that
Zimmerman acted in self defense. Subsequent photos taken from
Trayvon's own cell phone showed him participating in "gang" activity. The arrows pointed to Trayvon.
There once was a time when a person was acquitted by a jury of his/her peers that meant the person was found "Not Guilty" and free to go home and pick up the pieces and go on with their life.
Now it's "You're guilty until proven innocent". Such as it seems to be the case here.
There is (sadly to say) a double standard in this country wrt to
incidents of this nature. Does anyone here actually believe all this would be going on if the person killed was other than black?
That's not intended to be anything racist btw, (as I know there is going to be someone who will try to play it that way)..
But I believe there IS a double standard at play here.
