**He has been found innocent of all the charges brought against him. To say he is not guilty but not innocent says he "got away with it". That is a huge problem when people think they can make any charge stick so long as it suits them and if not just take it into their own hands to suit their own imagination of what actually happened rather than relying on the FACTS of the case.

*Maybe I've missed something but isn't "not guilty" or "guilty" basically the only verdicts a jury can give? I've not really heard of this "innocent" verdict before, at least not in the 'western' law courts.

Guilty or not guilty and you can add stuff like not guilty due to insanity etc...the only reason the jury doesn't determine innocence is because the defendant IS innocent unless PROVEN guilty. Can't prove GUILT= defendant is innocent. It's just twisting words. I think OJ killed Nicole so I wouldn't ever think he was innocent even if found not guilty but that is other than the law as opposed to the law. Not much to it.
