****Either the jury believed Zimmerman's actions were justifiable or they were not fully convinced that the prosecution proved that his actions were unjustifiable in a court of law... That they failed to take it beyond a reasonable doubt...

**There's no such thing as an "innocent" verdict. He was found not guilty of the specific charge put before them. That doesn't mean he's not responsible for Martin's death. I guess when the victim is black, all the conservative talk about caring more about the victim than the accused goes out the window.

* Oh please.. If the only difference were that the victim had been a white teenager , I would have felt exactly the same...

*I get the distinct feeling that your outrage would have barely registered on the scale if that were the case..

I doubt you'd feel the same. You would complain that not enough attention was being paid to the victim.

And this isn't just a feeling, we have evidence that you wouldn't be so gung-ho about defending Zimmerman if he were black. We have a similar case where the defendant is black and this is all you had to say about it: http://www.bagism.com/webboard/msg/107637.html
