****Either the jury believed Zimmerman's actions were justifiable or they were not fully convinced that the prosecution proved that his actions were unjustifiable in a court of law... That they failed to take it beyond a reasonable doubt...

**There's no such thing as an "innocent" verdict. He was found not guilty of the specific charge put before them. That doesn't mean he's not responsible for Martin's death. I guess when the victim is black, all the conservative talk about caring more about the victim than the accused goes out the window.

* Oh! That's racist!

I looked it up and "innocent" is actually a real word!
in·no·cent

1.
free from moral wrong; without sin; pure: innocent children.
2.
free from legal or specific wrong; guiltless: innocent of the crime.
3.
not involving evil intent or motive: an innocent misrepresentation.
4.
not causing physical or moral injury; harmless: innocent fun.
5.
devoid (usually followed by of ): a law innocent of merit.
Martin is responsible for his own death according to the facts of the case. The LAW says a plea of not guilty means the defendant MUST be assumed "innocent" unless PROVEN guilty.
Maybe this guy you're talking to is trying to say everybody looks out for number one. Maybe he's saying a person might lie his ass off to save it. Could be. Very well could be but thankfully the law protects us from each other if followed to the letter. I think it's a lesson the universe will keep on showing you until you understand how that has to be.Followup Messages:
